How We Help

At the Mission Within Foundation, we transform the lives of veterans and first responders through groundbreaking, evidence-based mental health treatments. We’re dedicated to providing access to psychedelic therapy, to help those who have sacrificed so much.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

We provide scholarships for transformative treatments like psilocybin and ibogaine therapy for veterans and first responders.

Training and Education

Equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to administer psychedelic-assisted therapy safely and effectively.

OUR Mission

We are dedicated to supporting the brave individuals who have served and sacrificed for others. Our goal is to provide access to healing and recovery through groundbreaking, evidence-based therapies that restore mental health, resilience, and overall well-being. By offering scholarships for psychedelic-assisted therapy, we empower veterans and first responders challenged by trauma, neurological challenges, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) to regain control of their lives.

Our Vision

We envision a world free of veterans’ and first responders’ suicide. We envision a world in which mental health struggles are recognized and treated—a world in which those who have served and sacrificed so much receive the support and treatment they need.

After founding the Mission Within Center in Mexico, and recognizing that many veterans faced financial barriers to receiving treatment, Dr. Martín Polanco, M.D., a pioneer in psychedelic therapies, founded The Mission Within Foundation. Today, the foundation provides scholarships for U.S. veterans and first responders for life-changing treatments at legal, pre-vetted facilities.

The Mission Within Foundation is a non-partisan organization. We believe that good mental health is for all Americans.
