Jeffery Adler is the former CEO of IPROTEAN, the virtual board education company that was acquired by Veralon. Under his leadership from 2018-2023, Jeffery helped transform the struggling startup into a nationally respected board governance solution. After the acquisition, Jeffery was promoted to Managing Director of Veralon.

Jeffery graduated as valedictorian from the University of Maryland (1991), and earned his Juris Doctorate at Georgetown Law Center in 1994. He has significant experience raising capital, having raised over $8 million dollars through capital raising transactions. He also has deep experience with mergers and acquisitions, commercial scale-up, franchising, licensing, product development, strategic planning and budgeting, systems
integration, investor relations, and corporate governance.

Jeffery participates as a speaker-moderator at healthcare conferences across the United States, including the American Hospital Association, and at several state hospital association summits. Jeffery is recognized in San Diego for fostering entrepreneurship and social innovation at universities and the broader startup community. He has participated in two TEDx Talks and is featured in several national publications for his work in helping build mission-driven enterprises.
